cornwall's leading oil company
1st May 2008
Mitchell and Webber have just seen their re-designed and expanded website go live. This highly successful local company, whose tankers are a familiar site around Cornwall, commissioned the extended website from us in recognition of the fact that their business covers a wide range of clients, services and products. Redesigning the website has allowed Mitchell and Webber to clearly bring together their full range of products and services and present them in an easily accessible way for their whole customer (and potential customer) base.
As part of this goal, the website has been clearly divided into sections corresponding with key areas of Mitchell and Webber's business.
The Home Heating section of the website provides full details of a range of services that are available to domestic customers with oil central heating in their homes. Mitchell and Webber are best known for supplying domestic heating oil to homes across Cornwall and much of Devon. Over the years, they have developed several systems to make the delivery of doestic heating oil more efficient. These include a Planned Delivery Service, based on predicted oil use, and the high-tech ”Watchman” that monitors levels in the oil tank and communicates with mitchell and Webber via your phone when the oil is getting low.
Of course, the fuel is only part of the picture as far as home heating is concerned. Mitchell and Webber offer full servicing of boilers and stoves as well as insurance for unexpected breakdowns. Mitchell and Webber are also suppliers of oil storage tanks to homes in Cornwall and Devon. They offer a range of the latest Titan tanks that are durable and regulation-compliant.
Another key customer of Mitchell and Webber is the agriculture sector. The range of services on offer to this important part of Cornwall's economy include delivery and supply of agri fuel storage tanks and fueling solutions. Alongside these services Mitchell and Webber are leading suppliers of lubricants to the sector, offering a range of types to meet the industry's varying needs.
The samne flexibility of delivery, storage and fuel/lubricant supply supports a wide range of industrial, commercial and marine businesses. This includes supply of the fuel additive AdBlue which reduces the emmissions of older diesel engines so that they comply with the latest standards on emmissions.
Across the board, Mitchell and Webber works hard to be as "green" as possible. Planned Delivery allows efficient routing of their vehicles to minimise delivery emmissions whilst the regular servicing of boilers and stoves also has a significant impact on emmissions from their customers. Mitchell and Webber also supply bio diesel across the county as a green alternative to traitional diesel.
The new website presents a modern face on a forward-looking Cornish success story and will serve Mitchell and Webber's customers very well for some time to come.
