New PC setup

So you’ve got a new PC and you want it up and running but you’re unsure of which cable goes where or how to get Windows customised to exactly how you’d like it? Never fear, at CNX Solutions Technology, our friendly engineers can help. Either on-site or in the workshop we can go through Windows updates, drivers, essential utility installation and personalisation, as well as installing any peripherals you have purchased with your PC.

New PC Installation

Eager to get going? Our on-call engineers are more than happy to setup your machine from scratch in the comfort of your own home, this includes Windows installations, updates, driver/peripheral installs and internet/email setup. Ready for you to boot up and enjoy!

Data transfer / backup

Losing data is a pain, at CNX Solutions Technology, we can retrieve your data/emails from an old PC/laptop and transfer it to your new machine to get you back up and running in no-time. We can also setup backup routines so that you will always have a safe copy of your files, should the unexpected happen.

Software and/or peripheral installation (Up to 3 software packages)

Want to install a new printer? Maybe you have a new version of Office and you are unsure how to go about installing it? Not to worry, at CNX Solutions Technology we can install your peripherals and programs for you, either on-site or in the workshop.

Operating system installation

If something has gone drastically wrong and you need to re-install XP/Vista/Windows 7 don’t panic. CNX Solutions Technology is here to help. We can get Windows back up and running and transfer your data, so it’ll be like nothing happened. Please note that only personal data/emails are recoverable, programs will need to be re-installed. (Legitimate product code required).

Speed up my PC

There is nothing more frustrating than a slow PC. Our engineers, however, can get your machine back up and running as smooth as silk, using some great programs and a few well-versed tips and tricks, we can fix the frustration and show you a few techniques to keep your computer healthy!

Security check / Virus removal

Viruses and security holes are one of the biggest killers and most potentially damaging threats to your machine we see. We can remove them and give you back piece of mind and (depending on severity) control of your machine. We also sell a variety of great Anti-Viral and Security Suites to keep your PCs safe.

PC Troubleshooting: Problem solving

If you have the Blue-Screen blues or you have a few network niggles, our engineers can source the problem and fix them for you. 

Home wired or wireless network installation/Broadband setup

Connecting all of your equipment can be daunting; our on-call engineers can help you get your network up and running, anything from installing and setting up Broadband to adding another PC / Printer / Network Storage unit.

Remote support

We also offer remote support for troubleshooting. Using CrossLoop we can access your machine and fix the issue remotely. (High speed internet connection required)
