E-commerce is the commonly used term for buying and selling products or services through a website. Cnx can offer a range of e-commerce solutions from packages to suit the sole trader to full enterprise solutions for larger companies.

Electronic commerce websites start from simple sites with a minimal number of products such as ticket sales, through to sites incorporating proprietary shopping basket software and multi-product bespoke sites.

Cnx has experience of building websites that are able to accept secure payments online using a range of technologies to suit clients' needs. We have experience of integrating websites with PSPs including Barclays ePDQ and ProTx. These PSPs offer a secure service whereby they process credit card transactions on your behalf for a percentage fee removing the need for clients to have credit card facilities onsite.

For clients who have access to "cardholder not present" technology, Cnx are able to supply and install a secure certificate for your site (commonly known as SSL). This provides a high level of encryption of any data passed over the Internet to and from your site, and gives visitors the confidence of seeing the "golden padlock" showing in their browser when they visit your site.
