Web Design

Our Approach

Image, Impact, Targeting, Efficiency and Accessibility are the keys to a great website.

  1. Impact - A good design is a memorable one. Visuals and content must grab the visitor's attention and make them want to look at the site in more depth.
  2. Targeting - Getting the relevant information to the right people in a visually appealing and informative manner.
  3. Efficiency - The key to a successful web presence is the user's ability to find what they are looking for quickly and easily. Navigation must be intuitive allowing users to reach the required information with the minimum of "clicks". Additionally efficient loading of web pages is important, here at Cnx Web Solutions we aim to streamline the display of pages so users have fast access to page content while less important elements are still downloading.
  4. Accessibility - It is important to remember that not all internet users will access websites in the same way, therefore it is vital to provide functionality that will enable these potential clients to access the site in as comfortable a way as possible.

Our Process

At each stage of the design process, the latest work is placed on our development server. From here the client has direct access to the latest stage of the process and is able to view the work in the same format as their target audience will upon completion.

  1. Consultation - Liaise with client to produce a site plan getting a clear understanding of their needs and an outline of the "look and feel" they are aiming for, based upon branding and the client's target audience.
  2. Visual Proposal - Using the information gathered during the consultation process, a static visual proposal will be created. At this point the client is able to make any changes to the look and feel.
  3. Site Development - Once a design had been agreed, the proposal is re-written as a fully functioning web site containing all HTML, image and server side components.
  4. Completed Site - Upon completion of site development, the client is asked to view the site and agree to its release. Any further changes are taken into account at this stage.
